Will there be food and drinks?
Yep. There will be a bar where your can purchase beer & wine. There will also be some pizza and hors d'oeuvres for everyone to enjoy at no additional cost.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket?
Nope! We'll have list of everyone who registered.
What if I bought tickets for other people?
They just need to tell our registration crew that their ticket is under your name.
How are the winning projects chosen?
You'll receive a voting ticket at the registration check in. You will place your vote into the box of the project you would like to see win. We'll count them and announce two winners at the conclusion of the event!
What happens to the projects that don't win?
While UpDayton only has the bandwidth to tackle two of the projects, we do hope all the presenters move forward with their project ideas through the UpDayton Project Incubator. After all, they just told 300+ Daytonians what they'd like to do. That's a good start! We do our best to connect people interested in supporting any project to the project leader.
What should I wear?
Most people come straight from work, so business casual is pretty typical, but everything from jeans and a t-shirt to dresses and suits is acceptable. We just want you to be there!
Can my friends or colleagues register at the door?
Yes! There will be a Walk-up Registration table.
How is parking?
There is limited parking at the venue so be sure to plan for extra time walking from the overflow lot which requires you to cross the street at Keowee & Third. See map below:
